It felt like a no brainer after his BRILLIANT 15 minute set at the Commodore. With no gimmicks, Flipout owned the entire crowd. His Jimmy Hendrix like 'computer move' was highly impressive and entertaining. Flipout's song selection was impeccable and made you realize this DJ is extremely versatile.

DJ FLIPOUT WON RED BULL 3 STYLE - VANCOUVER and is off to the semi finals in Toronto where the winner from there will compete in the World Championships in Paris.

SURYA "Songs of the Buddha"

"Songs of the Buddha" Surya's second EP will be out by the end of January 2010. A collection of traditional Tibetan Buddhist Prayers fused with Surya's modern edge, which also features the poetry of her teacher Gyalten Rinpoche. This project was composed, performed and produced almost exclusively by Surya and she looks forward to sharing these sacred prayers with the world. The proceeds from this project go to assist Rinpoche's village & monestery in Eastern Tibet.

Timebomb's new office is Eco Friendly with Design

Walking through the doors of Timebomb you'll notice all the different art work of which Garret Louie is a big fan and supporter of. Timebomb Trading has murals under stairways, paper-mache monsters playing in trees, scantily-clad male to female who are placed in the boardroom and more.

When it came to designing the new office of Timebomb they decided on preserving the raw building structure and draw from the natural elements. Timebomb also has taken the initiative towards being eco friendly by recycled plywood to TOTO low-flush toilets, Greenguard-rated office chairs and more.

'SOCAN Awards' couldn't help but to notice 'Dangerous'

In November 2009, DJ Kemo and hAZEL (of Vanguards Music), Kardinal Offishal & Akon received an 'Urban Music Award' from SOCAN for 'Dangerous' achieving the greatest number of performances on domestic radio during 2008.

The beat for 'Dangerous' was created in 2007 by both DJ Kemo & hAZEL. 'Dangerous' went on to sell 2.6 million world wide and was the lead off single from Kardinal Offishall's album, Not for Sale (2008, Konvict Muzik).

SOCAN administers the performing rights of Canadian songwriters, composers, lyricist, and music publishers. SOCAN is governed by a member-elected Board of Directors and offers their members access to its entire repertoire of copyright-protected music for communication and public performance.
