'THE STARTING OF SCRATCH' IN REACH MAGAZINE SPECIAL EDITON

Prior to the JUNOS in Vancouver, BC, I got to find out what sets 'World Famous DJ Starting From Scratch' apart from every other DJ and how he's wanting to produced again.

He's known for 'Doin' it Like No Other' and being Flow 93.5 'Mix Show Magician.' He also has the reputation for being 'Canada's number one DJ.' He's pretty much your favorite DJs favorite DJ. No Joke!

DJ Starting From Scratch's resume is very impressive and to some highly inspirational. He's the official tour DJ for Russell Peters, Keisha Chante and toured with Usher for his 'One Night Stand Tour.' Clinton Sparks has asked him to be apart of his 'Smash Squad DJ Crew' and he's the only Canadian Representative for DJ Whoo Kid's 'Shadyville DJ's Coalition.' This man has won every single award you can possibly think of for a DJ and has worked with John Legend, Faith Evans, Amerie, Beenie Man, Kardinal Offishal and more in studio. For his 15 year anniversary as a DJ he was awarded gold and platinum records from Virgin, BMG and Universal. You can only wonder what he will receive for his 20 year anniversary.

DJ COCO FRESH PRESENTS: 'BRIGHT LIGHTS AND BIG CITIES' THE MIXTAPE.

Taken from DJ Coco Fresh...

Seeing how this is my first EVER mixtape, I wanted to make it as GREAT as I could. Yes it has taken me longer then I had anticipated, the more I hear it the more I’m like take this out put this here no wait re-do, hang on new mix LOL.

Then pressing the wrong mix the first time made me a bit nervous about what people are going to think about me but then....

Really…

Do I really care what they think?. Nope, I could careless :)

The one I am about to post is the one that I put a lot of love and effort into. Cammon!! Not as if someone is going to EVER compare me to a male DJ and if they do then shit son that’s an honor for the both of us!!! (YAAAAY!)

This mix is something that I came up with one random night when I went to edit another mix, I realized that I was moving to Toronto in a week away from all my friends and family. And I wanted to release something for everyone I know and love will enjoy even if it is the entire mix or parts of it. There is a song on this for everyone!

With that being said, with the help of a bunch of GREAT friends, family and advice from fellow DJ's I present... BRIGHT LIGHTS AND BIG CITIES.

Move over Toronto. See you soon Van city! :) According to Myself and Jenno I am VanCitys
#1 Female DJ...bitches... ( I am takin' it and rolling with it son!)

'Dangerous' sells 2.6 Million.

Vancouver based production crew Vanguards Music have been putting in their work. From producing music for 4Real TV to working with EA Sports, Vanguards have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. DJ Coco Fresh Presents: 'Bright Lights and Big Cities' the mixtape release party

DJ Coco Fresh's love for djing began when she first heard Flipout and Jay Swing on 'The World Wide Ride' on CFOX. Intrigued with their DJing skills, Coco Fresh wanted to figure out how to create these amazing mixes.
