Originally from Philadelphia -DJ Excel, an almost 20 year veteran holds a reputation as one of the few “childhood prodigy’s” in the DJ industry. In 2000, Excel brought together some of the best DJ’s from the East Coast and established Skratch Makaniks. DJ Excel lengthy client list includes Busta Rhymes, Nas, Musiq Soulchild, Gil Scott Heron, Sean Paul, Kid Capri, Jazzy Jeff, Tony Touch, A-trak and many more. In 2009, Excel took the opportunity move to Los Angeles and works alongside Gomez Warren IV as “Audible Agent”.

Savage Beats has a sound described as being big and theatrical with a boom bap that can bring the ‘savage beast’ out of a person. To date he’s worked with and produced for Checkmate, Concise, Hill-B, Bless, Monz, Lamar Ashe (Killawatt Records), Heat Wave (Killawatt Records), Red 1 (Rascalz) and Zaki Ibrahim (Sony Music). With hip-hop culture serving as his foundation Savage Beats has continued to work on his versatility creating music that can span various genres. Flipout (Philip Cabrita) is a very educated genre-blind musical connoisseur and b-boy for life, having battled and won many local M.C, D.J, & b-boy competitions! Plus he's toured with KRS-One and The Liks, and has served as DJ for among others, Raekwon (Wu-Tang), Talib Kweli, and Jin the MC! Flipout has opened for Jay Z, Grandmaster Flash, Ice Cube, and Jermaine Dupri! Flipout has enjoyed DJing alongside DJ Vice, DJ Starting from Scratch, Questlove (the Roots), DJ Kemo, DJ Eleven, Team Canada, and Ali Shaheed Muhammed (A Tribe Called Quest/Lucy Pearl). With his long-time companions Jay Swing (those mf’s) and Zak Santiago (los hermanos libres), Flipout can be found any night of the week making crowds go crazy!
